About us

Benito Jerónimo Feijoo

Padre Feijoo school is a public Secondary and Upper Secondary School set in Gijón, Northern Spain.

The school was founded in 1961 and is named after Benito Jerónimo Feijjoo, one of the most influential philosophers of the Age of Enlightenment in Spain.

We are a lively school, where students are given every opportunity, with relevant support, to thrive. We try to provide our pupils with skills and learning beyond the academic and we have developed programmes to care for diversity, as well as promoted trips and school exchanges.

Our school is involved in many projects, including Erasmus+ and eTwinning and our CLIL programme has been running since 2007.
