   Osnovna škola Ivana Rabljanina Rab / Elementary School Ivan Rabljanina Rab is the only school on the Croatian island of Rab. It has 697 students and 73 teachers. The school mission is to be a school for all students, a school of tolerant interpersonal relationships; satisfied students, teachers and parents. We respect each other, we work hard and we are responsible, we encourage quality communication, we make decisions based on facts, not rumours and we want to be successful.

   We strongly believe that health life skills can be acquired and developed through innovative teaching and learning. A rising tendency of using digital devices can also be observed at school, however most countries in Europe are still deficient in terms of using mobile apps in an educational context. Furthermore, even though some schools have been equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, teachers have not always been given the suitable training to use all the digital devices and tools which makes them ineffective.

   The reason why we want to find partner schools in some transnational project is that we really want to help our students to acquire, develop and improve everyday lifestyle. To do this, we will create collaborative work and will observe other European schools and exchange experience in promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

   The project primarily aims to:
* provide an opportunity to jointly work with staff and pupils in developing new methods for developing key lifelong skills and develop intercultural understanding and language learning,
* provide a European added value to the project which envisages cross-country collaboration between countries that work within a varied sociocultural context.

   We would hope that the project will:
1. facilitate participation in interactive European learning sessions to develop students lifestyle
2. develop a collection containing the materials developed throughout the life of the project
3. develop language and cultural understanding
4. reflect and identify best practice to share with participating partners and the wider community during and after the project life.
